The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit clerical staff for various public sector banks in India. It is a two-tier exam consisting of the Preliminary and Main exams.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The age limit is between 20 and 28 years, with age relaxation available for reserved categories.
- The exam consists of two phases: Prelims and Mains. The Prelims includes three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability, with a total of 100 questions. The Mains exam has four sections: Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, General/Financial Awareness, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude, with 190 questions in total.
Yes, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in both the Preliminary and Main exams.
No, there is no interview stage in the IBPS Clerk recruitment process. The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam.
Candidates have 120 minutes to answer all the multiple-choice questions of Karnataka PGCET exam. It is compulsory to answer all the questions. Candidates will not get the option to select questions in the question paper. The exam is held in offline mode.
The application fee is ₹600 for General and OBC candidates, and ₹100 for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
