CA Foundation Career Prospects

What next after CA foundation? Big question mark, Okay now I have completed CA foundation, officially I have made one of the smallest steps to the journey to success at Learn Crew. But this is just the beginning.

Once the CA foundation results are out, we need to run in search of coaching institutes – online, offline, hybrid along with registration with the ICAI institute for CA inter and also CA inter exam, UFF and once this is done, the institute will take 10 to 15 days to send the books, and once the students see the number of books, that’s it, the confidence and JOSH is gone!!!! Guys Relax!! J

Let’s break the above step by step, so that it’s easier for you students to easily understand!!

1. Don’t worry about coaching institutes, we have one here running for you guys, Learn Crew – Your Journey to Success, but I’m not insisting (just kidding J). There are various modes where you guys can learn from –
   1. YouTube
   2. ICAI tutorials – free of cost
   3. Coaching institutes (Online, Offline & Hybrid Models)
   4. Group studies
   5. Self-studies
   6. Where to study? – Study rooms or Library or home or friend’s room etc.,

Too many sources of from where to study right? Great, one step is done!!

1. Next Register the with ICAI institute for the CA inter exams – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has opened the registration for CA Inter November 2024.
   1. The registrations are open till March 1, 2024. Candidates can register online on ICAI’s official website.
   2. The CA Inter registration fee is Rs. 18,000 for both the groups and Rs. 13000 for one group. As per the new scheme, the candidate must complete the CA Intermediate registration at least 8 months before the exam date to complete the required study period for CA Inter.

1. CA Intermediate Eligibility:
   1. There is no upper age limit for CA Intermediate registration
   2. Candidates either must have qualified CA Foundation exam or have completed graduation/post-graduation/ICSI Inter/ICAMI Inter.
      1. Qualifying marks (minimum marks)
         1. Commerce graduates – 55%
         2. Non-Commerce graduates – 60%
   3. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also register for the CA Intermediate course on a provisional basis.

1. Registration with ICAI Portal:
   1. Visit eservices.icai.org.
   2. Select the Students Services tab
   3. Select entry-level forms
   4. Carefully fill out the required details
   5. Click on the button “generate OTP”. Check your registered email and mobile number to know your login credentials
   6. Login and proceed with the CA Intermediate registration; upload documents and make payment
   7. Download the CA Intermediate 2024 registration receipt

Documents in short are as follows:

1. If CA Foundation route – 12^th Marks card/Equivalent Central govt recognized.
2. If Direct entry – UG marks card or ICSI Inter marks card or ICAMI Inter marks card.
3. One recent colored photograph
4. Address proof
5. Caste certificate if any or special child certificate if any.

CA Inter – Exam Form – Once the registration period is over, ICAI releases the CA Intermediate exam form 2024. Candidates who wish to appear in the exam, can fill the exam form within the prescribed time limit. After the exam form end date, ICAI will release CA Intermediate admit card 2024 which candidates must download and carry to the exam hall.

Okay Officially you’re a CA inter student, and now it’s your time to study and study and study!!! Please do not go for work unless there is a very emergency financial crunch in the family and you will have to work to make ends meet.
